Corporate Commitments For Renewable Energy Approach 100 Gigawatts

As large scale industrial batteries are increasingly co-located with solar and wind energy generation facilities, American corporations have entered into over 93 gigawatts of long term power contracts according to research from Standard and Poors Global.

Texas Dominating Corporate Renewables Contracts With over 57% of Market

Texas continues to snag the handful of major technology firms that are driving the development of large scale renewable energy projects through their long term contracting with sources as previously reported by AWE. Currently the Lone Star State has a 57% share of large scale renewable contracts with over 26,283 megawatts under contract.

Amazon alone accounts for over a quarter of all long term renewable contracts with Meta also figuring prominently as data centers continue to expand globally.
