Western States Picked Among Best Locations For Employers

Annual CEO Survey of 700 heads of organizations finds that the West and South rate very highly with Texas being the ideal state for doing business, Arizona ranked 4th, Nevada ranked 8th, Utah ranked 10th, Colorado was rated 13th, and Idaho ranked 16th.

The dynamic Mountain Time zone Western States which routinely have placed well on surveys like this continue to manage their reputations for positive business and living climate even while experiencing prolonged periods of growth through economic booms, busts, and lockdowns.

Rounding out the western region, Montana was ranked 27th, Wyoming was ranked 29th, Alaska was 36th, New Mexico was 37th, Hawaii was 42nd, Oregon was 45th, Washington was ranked 46th, and California was rated 50th.
