So Far This Year…

our members Operated throughout the emergency declarations

During the multiple emergencies since March 2020 we have worked intensively to help state officials define a path forward while helping the organizations that work with the organization to continue operating. In part because of our work and the network of support we are a part of, every organization that participates with our association continued to operate through the emergency. EVERY JOB, EVERY ORGANIZATION IS ESSENTIAL TO US!

our efforts have helped save employers $22,500 or more per job

As Governors, members of Congress, state legislators, and local elected officials decided on policy proposals to first sensitively close and then appropriately reopen their economies, we helped advocate for common sense policies that helped put employees back to work as soon as was safe. In addition, our advocacy helped stop several proposals that would have permanently altered state and local taxes, human resource requirements, business continuation and worker’s compensation insurance, and several other key cost drivers for employers to the tune of more than $22,500 per job.

paving the way for a more efficient tomorrow

Working to make the economy more efficient and , the Association has convened a working group in coordination with representatives of a network of more than 800 of the 32,000 organizations we communicate with regularly, to plan for ways to continue to improve local employment while cutting down on unnecessary vehicle and truck traffic. During the previous four years, these techniques, pioneered by leading organizations within the Association have saved over 4 million vehicle miles travelled in just Southern California alone.
