Surging Inflation Is Very Real, Could Be Short Lived Says Former Fed Governor

Surging inflation while very real could be a short lived component of restarting a shutdown national economy being challenged by pent up demand, travel, and historic supply disruptions according to former Fed Governor Randall Krosner in an interview with Bloomberg TV.

Citing stronger longer term fundamental economic strength, Krosner sought to dampen expectations that longer term price growth may be a more permanent challenge to lasting economic recovery.
