SpaceX Prepares Seventh Launch Of World's Most Powerful Rocket
SpaceX is preparing the seventh launch for the world’s largest rocket is set for January 13 and will be broadcast on multiple platforms including the new X TV app, SpaceX.com and @SpaceX.
The mission is focused on ongoing updates to both stages of the fully reusable rocket, the utterly unprecedented rocket catching device described as ‘chopsticks’, the delivery of updated Starlink satellites, and many other avionics and design updates designed to make the Spaceship and its booster stage more effective.
The window for the Starbase Texas launch opens at 4 PM Central Time (5:00 PM Eastern/2:00 PM Pacific) and like with other similar space flights for SpaceX and historically for all other launch organizations, the timing of the launch will likely be dynamic to equipment status and needs, weather conditions and a number of other factors.
