Home Sales Nationally Drop to Lowest Point In 5 Years

The Census Bureau reported today that home sales nationally continued sliding to their lowest point since mid-2017.

With the average house sold for $546,800 in July and homebuyers looking at mortgage rates nearly double where they were at the beginning of the year in between 5-6% depending on the loan and borrower, affordability remains a primary challenge.
